Quadrum Intercept - The square coin capsule with active tarnish protection.

QUADRUM Intercept describes a whole new technology of coin collecting! 

The material actively protects your coins from oxidation. The foam insert of this coin capsule is based on the Intercept technology, which has been patented for over 30 years. The copper particles contained in the material permanently bind corrosive gases and create a neutralised atmosphere in no time, protecting the coins from tarnishing. Guaranteed protection for up to 15 years*. The effect has been proven according to the proven standards DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM, among others. 

Available for all coins from 14 to 41 mm diameter (in millimetre steps). Filling height 3.3 mm.

*Under normal storage conditions, the effective period goes well beyond the stated 15 years! Only under very unfavourable conditions (e.g. exceptionally high levels of pollutants in the air or constant opening of the capsules / boxes) can it happen that the capacity of the intercept material is used up before the 15 years have expired. You will recognise the decline of the material's effectiveness by a dark grey to greenish discolouration of the foil (not of the coins!). In this case, you should replace the product with a new one.
